At our school, we believe that following rules ensures a harmonious environment conducive to learning and personal growth. To maintain discipline and provide an effective educational experience, we require all students, parents, and staff to adhere to the following rules and regulations:
1. Attendance
Students are expected to be present for all classes, events, and school activities. Absences should be communicated in advance and justified with a valid reason, such as illness. Frequent absenteeism without valid reasons may lead to disciplinary actions.
2. Punctuality
All students should arrive at school on time. Late arrivals disrupt the class and disturb others. In case of late arrival, a written explanation from a parent or guardian is required.
3. Uniform and Appearance
Students are required to wear the school uniform neatly and with pride. The school uniform must be worn properly at all times. Students should also maintain a clean and tidy appearance. Personal grooming should reflect the values of the school.
4. Code of Conduct
Students should maintain a respectful and courteous attitude towards all staff members and fellow students. Any form of bullying, disrespect, or misbehavior will lead to disciplinary actions. Students should also be mindful of their language and actions, ensuring they reflect positively on the school.
5. Discipline
Students are expected to follow all instructions given by teachers and school staff. Disobedience and disruptive behavior during classes or school activities will result in a warning, followed by stronger disciplinary measures if repeated. Major violations, such as fighting or vandalism, may lead to suspension or expulsion.
6. Electronic Devices
Mobile phones, tablets, and other electronic devices are not allowed during school hours unless specified by the teacher for educational purposes. Any such devices should be kept in the student's bag and used only during breaks or as directed by school staff.
7. Homework and Assignments
Students are expected to complete all assigned homework and projects on time. Late submissions will incur a penalty unless prior approval is obtained from the respective teacher. It is the student's responsibility to seek help if they are struggling with their assignments.
8. Safety and Security
Students should always follow safety rules during school activities. Misuse of school property, such as fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, or lab equipment, will not be tolerated. Students are expected to report any accidents, hazards, or suspicious activities immediately to the staff.
9. Use of School Property
Students are expected to respect school property, including classrooms, libraries, and sports equipment. Any damage to school property, whether intentional or accidental, should be reported immediately. Students will be held responsible for any damage caused.
10. School Events and Activities
Students are encouraged to actively participate in extracurricular activities, including sports, music, drama, and cultural events. Participation helps in the overall development of students. However, attendance for school events is optional unless it is part of the curriculum or a compulsory school activity.
11. Communication
Students and parents should maintain open communication with school staff. Any concerns or grievances should be directed to the concerned teacher or principal. It is the responsibility of both parents and students to keep up-to-date with school notices, events, and activities.
12. Health and Well-being
Students should maintain good hygiene and take care of their health. Regular health check-ups are encouraged. Any student suffering from contagious diseases should stay at home and only return to school with a doctor's note confirming they are fit to attend classes.
13. Environmental Responsibility
Students should adopt eco-friendly practices, such as reducing waste, conserving water, and recycling materials. Our school aims to create a green and sustainable environment, and all students must contribute to this mission.
14. Field Trips and Off-Campus Activities
Students are expected to follow all instructions provided by the teachers during field trips and off-campus activities. They should maintain appropriate behavior and respect the rules of the location they visit. Parental consent is required for all field trips.
15. Consequences of Violations
Violation of any of the above rules may result in disciplinary action, including warnings, suspension, or expulsion, depending on the severity of the offense. The school reserves the right to take appropriate action in the best interest of the school community.
